SEMINAR: “APPLYING CARBON GOVERNANCE TO GREEN, SMART CITIES & GREEN BUILDING”

The Vietnam Society of Civil Engineering organized a thematic seminar titled “Carbon Management for Green, Smart Cities & Green Buildings”, bringing together domestic and international experts to share practical perspectives on sustainable development trends in the construction industry.

As regulations on emissions and ESG requirements became increasingly defined, the event served as a forum for businesses, engineers, and managers to update themselves on green building standards, carbon management methods, as well as opportunities in the carbon credit market. At the same time, the seminar provided a space for exchange and networking among stakeholders within the construction ecosystem — from consulting, design, and construction to materials and operations.

The program included thematic sharing sessions on carbon management for green cities and green buildings, implementation practices in Vietnam, and international experience from South Korea, combined with discussions and networking opportunities among participants.

The event welcomed around 100 guests, including business leaders, experts, engineers, and architects from the construction and real estate industries.
